A McKinsey report states that the cost of providing workers with healthcare is rising faster than that of other component of employee benefit. If left unchecked, health insurance outlays will eat up the profits of the average Fortune  500 company within five years.

In an industrial setup, we need a healthy workforce and an appropriate healthcare infrastructure to achieve and sustain it. By instituting and enforcing  certain systems, we can reduce sickness absence, thereby increasing productivity at work, and reducing the healthcare costs.
